drain the coolant, there should be a little metal hose under your engine with a cap with the oil symbol, unscrew it let out all the coolant and close it back up and put oil in it.

If engine wasn't started, drain oil and refill. If started, change oil and filter. Coolant eats bearing material , and $20.00 in parts is worth changing it all.

if by a cup, you mean 8 fluid ounces, you might be able to let it burn out while driving.... not really a good idea. Cars that burn coolant while driving are spotted easily since they leave a large rooster tail of white exhaust that is unpleasant to smell and see going into the environment.
