You should really be laughing at them for being drunk! It is good fun to watch drunk people stumble around like a loser and think that they are so cool.
Don't give into them... Not worth it. So much can happen with drinking that they truly are stupid to start so young.
Yes I think it is that bad.. of course I have seen it first hand and have done it.. SO not all it is cracked up to be... don't let them bring you down.. you are the smartest of the bunch! I praise you for that choice!
Wait til you are of age... You will see that the novelty of it will either have worn off like it did for me and become boring (though I do have a taste for one kind of drink... but getting drunk is so never the goal) Or they will end up alcoholics.. never anything good to say there.
Their biggest thing is not getting caught.... that has more to do with it then anything... and because they think it is "cool" to do and "know" so much about this and that kind.. chances are... they haven't done half of what they said and/or know little about what it is actually doing to them and the effects it can have in the long run! They will regret it one day...you'll see.
Keep being smart.. you can't regret that later!

You should only do something if it's what you want to do. As far as I can tell people still act just as silly while drunk, no matter the age.
The part of this that bothers me is that you have decided not to drink but you are letting other people get to you. If you want to have a drink and you know that noone will get hurt then go for it. However if you start drinking just because your "friends" laugh att you for not drinking than you have done it for the wrong reasons.
FYI: Real freinds will respect and support your choice even it is different from theirs.

Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with underage drinking as long as it is done in moderation (don't get drunk), and you definitely don't drive (no matter how much you have had to drink), but that is just me. I know a lot of people out there who love to get drunk. One of my friends does this on a regular basis, but I don't see the point. Having a hangover, throwing up, and not remembering anything just doesn't sound that much fun to me...
Don't decide to drink though just because your friends are and they are pressuring you. You'll do it for the wrong reasons and chances are that you'll regret your decision later on. Also remember there are potential consequences to it too. If you get caught you will be in trouble. Stick to your morals and do what you think is the best.

I think that the legal age for drinking should be changed to 18. I think if the military is able to draft 18 year olds and they are able to sign up for the military and go to war and they are tried as adults in the courts as well then they should be able to drink. I have drank underage before so I'd say yes if you were at least 18, but just don't drive and don't get all sloppy drunk.

Why you'll have plenty of time for that in college. BTW, I've watched friends die for being that stupid with their opinions. You'll have plenty of time to drink. But on the other hand peer presure is a pain in the neck. The choice is yours but you should make the better decision with your life. So what if they laugh, at least you don't get all stupid drunk and do stupid stuff that people will talk about at school.

Why? Even people pass the age of maturity often don't know when to quit. It is good at helping you loose impulse control and make different decision than when sober but is that a plus. It feels good but so do many other things that don't risk death from overdose (only need to be .3% of blood volume), arrest, nausea, headache, and foolishness

If you want to have a beer or two, as long as you don't get silly and drink too much, it shouldn't be a problem. It's fine as long as you know your limit. What worries me is that you seem to be doing this because your friends are putting on the pressure. If they're laughing at you because you don't drink, then I think you seriously need to think about who you're hanging out with.

Well drinking underage has changed all so much since I was a kid. When I was a kid growing up YES we drank as so many kids do BUT when we drank we stayed OUT of SIGHT. We laid low so to speak. We didn't want to get caught. And as a rule ALL went well. There were NO accidents and WE didn't get busted or caught. BUT today KIDS DON'T CARE. They drink they drive. And as such there are so many more accidents and deaths because of this. So remember, IF you drink DON'T DRIVE.

NO don't start drinking! you have think about your other friends that are sober and they probably wouldn't want to be your friend after that one night you got drunk. and it's almost like smoking if you have one you will want more so don't do it otherwise when you get older you could be an alcoholic. and since your under-age you could go to jail or somewhere much worse , and believe me you don't want to go there so just make the right choice.
