You have realized, England has been going down, down, down, down... they just keep going lower. And USA? They just keep up being victorious! Take for example, England vs Israel ended 0-0. USA vs Ecuador ended 3-1.

Do you think there's a connection? Do you think team USA is absorbing the grand footy power England always had from affar? What kind of phenomenon is this? Will USA and England switch places on the FIFA rankings table???

Thanks!

Oh and I don't mean to offend anyone.

Don't think Team USA is at the same level as an England, Germany, Italy, France... just yet, but they are moving in the right direction, and if England can get some cohesion they would be the team to beat in International Play....

Head to Head I say

England 2 - USA 1

Most people in the US(99%) of them don't even know we have a soccer league(before Beckham signing).. I didn't know we had a soccer league until they signed Beckham. Like quite a few of my friends were saying.. we have a soccer league.. this joke even ended up in Jay Leno.. etc. The US national team is improving but youre only taking a small time period.. so its pretty much statistically useless due to the small number of games played. England has more management problems due to the wealth of talent(can't play Gerrard and Lampard at the same time but theyre both really good) while US doesnt have that problem.

Let's see....

Successful independence in 1776.

Saved Englands collective butt in WW2.

Surpassed the shrinking British Empire as a world power.

Won the womens World Cup.

Bought ManU.

I think the Brits have plenty to be sore about.
