I use a hygrometer in my egg incubators. I have ensure the incubators maintain 85% humidity. So hygrometers are acurate. You can get one at any pet store that carry reptile supplies. They are not very expensive.

check your sinuses. if they feel dry it is too dry. if they are are dripping down your upper lip, too humid. okay dorky? may the donkey of heaven gaze at your door. never ever rely on a hydrometer. never work. never, never never.
