This is difficult and depends totally on when he gave himself to Christ. Maybe after the 6th marriage he decided he needed help, that something just wasnt working.....lol.
I dont mean to make light of this, but my inlaws were born again Christians, and the father especially was a real deviate. The pastor of the Chruch ignored all his sins and said that the moment that this man gave himself to Christ, then all sins are forgiven. I agree with that.....who are we to judge. But I think a lot of born again Christians see it as a great way to commit sin then ask for forgiveness....because God WILL forgive. I believe my father-in law was sincere in his heart when he asked for forgiveness, and its very easy after the fact to feel terrible for something you have done, and just as easy for God to forgive you.....after the fact.
I dont have a lot of respect for people who call themselves born again Christians, simply because I have experienced first hand what hypocrites they were. Dont get me wrong, I believe there are people out their who do give themselves to Christ and take it seriously, but there are also people out there who view it as a way to continue their sinful life, then ask for forgiveness afterwards. I think they are kidding themselves. God isnt stupid, its just the misconceptions people hold about sinning and forgiveness. Christiantity has done a lot of damage I believe. Religion is the major cause of wars. You go back thousands of years and see what atrocities were caused in the name of God. Look at all the women, men and children who were hung because it was thought they were possessed by the devil. A birthmark was considered a sign of the devil....how ridiculous. So many people were murdered in the name of God. Wars are still being fought in the name of God and thousands of people are dying....so how could a real Christian not understand how we can have misgiving about Religion....and I think your friend of six marriage and who claims he is a born again Christian is proof of that.

John 3:5-8 Jesus replied, "extremely, extremely, I say to you, till one is born of water and the Spirit, he won't be able to enter the dominion of God. That that's born of the flesh is flesh, and that that's born of the Spirit is spirit. do no longer ask your self that I stated to you, 'you will possibly desire to be born back.' The wind blows the place it needs, and you hear its sound, yet you do no longer comprehend the place it comes from or the place it is going. So that's with each physique who's born of the Spirit." John 3:sixteen-18 "For God so enjoyed the international, that he gave his in basic terms Son, that whoever believes in him shouldn't perish yet have eternal life. For God did no longer deliver his Son into the international to condemn the international, yet in order that the international might desire to be saved via him. Whoever believes in him isn't condemned, yet whoever would not have faith is condemned already, because of fact he has no longer believed interior the call of the only Son of God.

Being married 6 times is I guess the time to start praying that you are going to repent on the seventh wife and get that holy feeling. Have you ever seen those TV episodes made in prison, they have all killed people and will never return to society are going to meet their maker by execution. They have all found God and holding that Bible and telling you they have been forgiven and will enter the Kingdom of Heaven when they go God told them that he forgives them. They are praying and singing the next thing you know they have killed someone in Prison, again, but they talk to God and have once again been forgiven their sins have been washed away.

Sounds like this guy has been born again with every mistake he has made in the past. Since the excuse worked the first 6 times, I guess he figures if it works, go with it! I would make sure that I was not #7 on his list of ex's.

Depends, did he divorce any of his wives, did they divorce him. It's possible that he had 6 wives have affairs and leave him. Not likely. Or did they all pass away before him.
It's also possible that he went through 6 wives long before becoming a born again Christian.
How can I say anything without knowing more about him?

If he was a born again Christian after these 6 marriages, biblically, God has forgiven him for his sins that he has committed. I call him still a Christian. God still loves him even after repentance.

even Christians sin, and do wrong. being a christian doesn't guarantee one won't sin. this is just a man who is never satisfied with what he has, and may be marrying for all of the wrong reasons.
