The virus infected masses in "28 Days Later" have pure rage, but the walking undead in "Dawn of the Dead" have the numbers, and an unquenchable hunger for humans.

By the way, check out the sneak peek for "28 Weeks Later": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVW1btD8jMY

The zombies from Dawn of the Dead will overrun the world, because they don't starve to death after a few months. Plus, anyone that dies in the 'dead' movies turns into a zombie. To turn into one of the infected guys in 28DL, someone has to get bitten by someone who's already infected.

28 Day Later Hands Down! I mean, The Dawn of the dead are zombies, the 28 days are not.

Dawn of the Dead.

In just about every Zombie movie I have ever seen, the Zombies are slow and stupid. The zombies in Dawn of the dead will flat out run your *** down. They can think a little as well.

Well.... neither of the movies really explain or show how they would survive over a long period of time( it's really just about the blood & guts factor in these movies). And another thing... all these kinds of movies take place in the summer only... now to me that doesn't say much because I live in Canada and during winter it gets freakin' cold, so what would happen to those things in -40c temperature?(they are still living organisms right?) so would they just freeze to death?
I think that if the movies actually explained to the viewer how things would survive under the different pressures of living in different climates, than you would have an answer to this question. And I think that the movie will be more exciting in winter(assuming that they can stand -40 temp.) than in summer!
My answer is neither none of these movies really gives the viewer and idea of how they would handle different global temperatures!!
