Acually, Wiki is a type of software. It powers many projects, including Wikia (http://www.wikia.org/). The WikiMedia official site is (http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki).
Wikipedia is run by the Wikimedia Foundation and has many sister projects.

Yahoo has the best reference websites there are. Use the link to find dictionaries and encyclopedias, the REAL encyclopedia.

I like Wikipedia, but you should remember it is a manmade website and open to change and interpretation. It is good, but it is not always accurate.
