Get a good mix. Even though you are mostly a rocker there will be times that you want to chill out, etc. Dont put every cd you own or tracks you dont like on it. A lot of people just copy the whole cd to their ipod and then only listen to 1 or 2 tracks.

You will spend half the time and all your battery trying to get to songs you like. The best way to go is playlists. Create playlists for different moods or activities. That way no matter what your mood you always have the perfect songs ready and waiting with one click.
