For me, it was 6 years. I was lucky, I guess. But, I got 2 tickets the same year and learned to WATCH those speed signs closely. A Camaro draws attention, just as my red Monte Carlo did. They make race tracks for that kind of driving.

In the state of South Carolina medical personnel are only allowed to break traffic laws if there is an emergency nearby that they can assist with. Like a car accident a nurse is allowed to assist and hold up traffic if necessary, until the police and ambulances arrive. Citizens with medical knowledge able to assist are allowed to aswell depending on the circumstances. But you can be charged with a crime if you perform a medical service and it goes wrong. That's the only way down here other than an actual emergency vehicle.

In 41 years of driving I've never had one. It's not the 100 buck for the ticket it's the increase in your insurance premium that's costly.

LOL it was almost 20 years before I ever received a moving violation. I also drive over 300 miles a week. I am not in favor of giving my hard money to the city government nor having higher insurance rates on the account of driving too fast.

Believe it or not the day after I got my license I was pulled for speeding in a school zone. Being that I did not realize at a certain time in the day you must go slower in the school zone I was going 45 in a 35mph. I cried like a baby too. The officer made me sit there a while for me to calm down. That taught me a lesson though!!!!!

Less than a month, for doing 85 in a 50. I should have lost my license for that, but the cop took pity on me and let me tear it up. Also I was 20 and in the Navy so I think that factored in to it.

Driving for 40 years. NEVER had a speeding ticket. And I don't put-put down the road. I just have a pretty good instinct for where to be careful.
