If so, which book is the first one? Which one is the second, and which one is the third? My friend wants me to read Twilight but I want to read them in order.

Twilight (Out)
New Moon (Out)
Eclipse (Coming out in 2007)
Breaking Dawn (Coming out in 2008)
Then there may be a book called Midnight Sun, which will be Twilight from Edward's point of view, which may be out by 2009.
It's a great series, I can't wait until Eclipse comes out!

It's not in a trilogy. Just a series.
Book 1: Twilight
Book 2: New Moon
Book 3: Eclipse (out on August 7)
Book 4: Breaking Dawn (not out yet)
And there will probably be more books after that. Also, whenever Stephenie Meyer finishes it, Midnight Sun will be published, which is Twilight from Edward's point of view.

No, its not a trilogy. First one's Twilight and the second is NEw Moon. There will be more than three books, the third one being "Eclipse" :)

At this point there are two books out, Twilight and it's sequal, New Moon. The third book, Eclipse, comes out in August and the fourth book, Breaking Dawn, in set to be released sometime in the fall of 2008.
Enjoy them, they're great books!
