Best to know a person before you choose to trust them. Safe to question another's motive to protect yourself while getting to know them. And some people are better left alone. Your trust should be earned by the consistent actions or responses from another.

Show more confidence in yourself and try to do most things yourself. Then you won,t entrust so much to people that put you in the position of trusting them. If you lean too much on people to trust them, the danger is always that they will use you. The balance is believing more in yourself.

well, only trust the people that trust u back. Never trust any body with a loud mouth. But, the way u can stop this is by testing yourself in conclusion of secrtes.

Lanny,
It is definitely a valuable trait to be an open and trusting person.
However it is also good to let people deserve the trust (or distrust) that you place in them.

Listen to your intuition about which people to trust and which ones not to trust. Intuition is just the natural feeling.

I would trust your instincts and take time to figure out what those instincts are telling you. Rule with your gut or heart or where ever you feel the answer lies.

Don't be in a hurry to act or accept. Adopt a wait and see approach and be alert to whether they're wanting something from you.
