This administration is far far out to the right of it's party and listening to no one. No unity is possible.

To the poster above me, I think this administration is too far to the left of the party, yes the war is an issue, but in everything else domestically and fiscally The president is liberal compared to the Republican base.
As for the Left of the spectrum, there are many voices there and the farthest left is trying to take control.

Because each legislator is just a little more focused on getting reelected than voting the straight party line.

Because, as the saying goes, "All politics is local." Politicians are beholden to their constituents for re-election, so they pad spending bills with useless pork....

...see the Democrat Party and the most recent defense spending bill...shameful.
