What you need is all out security for your computer and no program is a do it all execpt the paid for programs I would tell you to use Avast 4 personal edition then install adAware SE Personal, Spybot Search and destroy, and a less well known firewall will help keep the junk out of your system before it gets in I suggest either zonelabs free firewall or get one at http://www.magnesiummedia.com/ all the softtware is either freeware or shareware that can be upgraded to all the features buy a minimal fee usually around $15-$20 U.S. Funds

Sorry,but the free ones are not very good at getting all of the virus out of your system.
If you want to make your computer virus free,then get ready to put a crowbar in your wallet to get a good one like AdAware or Norton AntiVirus.

All antivirus products should have real-time protection otherwise it's not worth a candle. My own favourite is AVG Free which you can download using this link

Avast 4 Home. I've used it for 3 years and it is as real-time as it gets. It runs as long as my computer is on - protects my email as well as the computer. I wouldn't have anything else.

Im pretty sure Avg anti-virus is like that but its not very good the best one is Mcafee kuz its really good
