It depends. I'm an addict trying to quit it's hard. World of Warcraft is an addicting game. Soon I found without thinking I could play it. When I intend to do something else I end up playing world of warcraft and don't remember ever turning it on! The addiction is scary. I've noticed that one of my friends parents divorced now I understood this and knew why he was acting so dumb and trying to be cool. I never got angry or lashed out cause I understood what he was going though now my parents were still together even when he hit me or got upset cause me I never pointed out the facts it was his fault and I let gim blame me cause he was going though hard times. Now every week when we have a sport he tries to always win and always does something that isn't cheating but is annoying to everyone. Now everyone like me would understand this but..... when I started playing world of warcraft I actullay lashed out! I started calling him names and hitting him. I really upset him and it only happened when I started playing World of Warcraft. It changes people like me I use to be nice and not a bully now I am I've become more aggresive and now abuse the fact that I'm the tallest and the strongest in the top class of my school all because of world of warcraft. This is what started to make me try to quit but I failed...... I might need special help but beating the world of warcraft addiction is something I cannot do. It's to hard and differcult. It's changed me and my friends. World of Warcraft is not a boring game and it's not a waste of time. But I can beat even the smoking addiction but can't beat the world of warcraft addiction I'm afraid for myself. I could lose everything if I don't stop playing this addictive game. Another thing I could do is to find something else to do and cut down how much I play world of warcraft but I'm very afraid I'm currently seeking help to beat playing so much and play only at the right times so enjoy the addiction is all I can say LOL

It's a waste of time in the same way that watching TV is a waste of time. The time and effort you expend does not result in anything productive, such as building something new. It is not a waste of time, if used properly as a social diversion to satisfy the very real human need to have fun and relax.
So basically the answer is, if you don't enjoy WoW, then it's a waste of time for you.

all games are dumb but is see world of warcraft as the least dumbest.

that is difficult for someone to respond to a question like that for you. the purely way you'll understand that you want is to play both. in my opinion, I desire Guild Wars 2, an excellent forefront: Saga of Heroes, over both of them, besides the indisputable fact that that is me. you may play what's relaxing for you - no longer what somebody else tells you is the perfect.

its not a waste of time, unless u are a nobody living with your mom, it can build communication skills. I know someone who designed Runescape, now THATS a waste of time!

Because it's probably addictive and hard to stop playing it. That's why I stay away from it.
