You need to feed your Tulips every fourteen days with miracle-gro granules. This will help with producing very healthy blums.and also make sure you water them after the sun goes down. This way it gives the water a chance to absorb in to the soil and prepares the roots for when the sun comes up the next day.

Have they been like this since the second year? If so, there may not be enough sun in that spot. Or if there has been construction and now a house is blocking the sun, that will do it too. Also, be sure to let tulips stay 6 weeks after the blooms die, before mowing.

you must let them die back on their own in the summer, remove dried up leaves.
also this fall dig up the bulbs and seperate the new ones from the old one and replant, probably crowding each other out...

should do this every 3 yrs or so...
