Yes, it is very normal for male nipples to get erect when aroused. This does not happen with every guy, but it happens with lots of guys.
"About 6 in every 10 men experience erection of the nipples during the later stages of sexual arousal."
"In regard to the men, 51.7% reported that nipple stimulation caused or enhanced their sexual arousal, 39% agreed that when sexually aroused such manipulation increased their arousal, only 17.1% had asked to have their nipples stimulated, and only 7.5% found that such stimulation decreased their arousal."

Yes, it is perfectly normal. Cold temperatures, or sexual excitement cause the nipples to harden. It is nothing to be embarrassed about. You should be glad they do as that may add another area for sexual stimulation. See this link:
