I would like to know because Im thinking about buying a mac but can you tell me whats the best type of mac

If you build your Mac online, you can choose the option of having Final Cut Pro (i don't know how much it is at the moment). The best Mac, in my opinion, is the MacBook Pro. It has Excellent features and great hardware (myuncle has one). Because I'm only a student and I don't need all of the extra hardware, I use the MacBook (same great features)...Also, the MacBook Pro is much more expensive. But both great computers!

Wait.
Ok, first, no, Final Cut Pro is not standard on a mac. IMovie and IDVD come with, but Final Cut Pro is extra.
The reason I'm saying wait is because on April 14th or so in Las Vegas is the National Association of Broadcasters national convention. Apple is planning a series of big announcements there and there are rumors of a new 8-core machine being introduced.
