I accidently put this in the wrong category before. How do other women juggle work, family, and all that stuff and have any energy to clean their house, cook and be a happy well adjusted individual?

usually women who work do their housework and the cooking during the weekends. after they come from work they just heat some food and spend some time on themselves or with their family. i know many women who do this and they are very happy too.

Well, first of all you need to realize that you are only human and that there are going to be times when the house will not get cleaned or dinner will be cooked. But if you are looking for time savers....delegate some of the chores to your children or even hubby; the times you cannot cook dinner, make sandwiches or canned raviolis or even microwavables. Make sure you take care of the most important things first...like giving your children the love and attention they need. Then do the other important things like paying bills..stuff like that but the world will not end if you have a bit of a mess in your home or dishes didn't get washed for the day.

I don't think you can. Not really. You have to prioritize and decide what is most important to you. In my case, I gave up working until my children were older and then I only work part time while they are at school. I've found it's extremely important to be home when the teens get home from school.

Surprisingly enough, I've also found that when I took over the house and kids, my husband has been able to pretty much hit the top of his field. I don't think he would have been able to if I hadn't been there to take over the domestic stuff.

I think it must be pretty much impossible to do without someone helping such as the dad or hired help, as I nanny for a very successful woman. She needs help so she can spend as much of her time with her two sons as she possible. I also do some of the household grunt work in her house when I am bored, and the kids are not home from school yet. This helps her greatly doing other things she needs to do plus give the boys the attention they need.

Women can have it all - we just don't NEED it all at once. Pick - a career or family right now. There's plenty of time for career and work when the kids are older. They're only little for a short time....enjoy it!

I don't remember what show I was watching, but a woman was talking about her busy schedule and said "Women aren't having it all - they're doing it all." I think that says it best.
