Not true, us irish dont speak fast, no all of us, our accents are silmilar to the north of england,

Some English People I cant Understand when they Talk Fast. The Geordies in The North East of England ,Newcastle. Some London Accents . Some Irish Accents I find hard to understand, Like Donegal, Kerry ,and some parts of Cork. I am Irish with English Relations.

I am only answering this question because it made me laugh. The English are not used to the fast talking Irish or the fast talking Glasgow accent. What a funny question ha ha. And it has nothing to do with their Brains.

It makes NO difference who comes from where,i'm from england so are a lot of irish.......i have NO trouble understanding them whatsoever, However if i was not concentrating when they was talking to me(as a lot of people do) then i might ask them to repeat it!!

Where you come from makes no difference....there are a lot more harder accents than the irish!!

I love Ireland & the Irish & I daresay our brains are as quick as each other's. I don't know what IFS is, but IF you are from Ireland, I'll give you stuff in cockney that'll be finished before your fcuking earoles uh tuned in me ole mate.

How Dare You, I actually respect the Irish and thier language, but there's always one that has to spoil it isn't there.? Yes I do like the Irish speak and can understand what they're saying. S.h.i.t head.

Oh come on! You'd have to be a complete div not to be able to understand. Even heavy accents only need a little effort and getting used to.
