When the electricity goes out, what do you do?

How do you stay warm, what do you eat, what do you do to pass the time...

last time we had a blackout which lasted about 26 hours,we used a camp lamp,used a small camp stove outside to heat water and warm up food.also a battery run radio.played scrabble or just talked.also found a tim hortons that was open,long lineup there,but was worth the wait.sure was happy when the electricity was restored.

i just go to a storeand get food thats already cooked...and i stay at my friends house....but if i had no choice id eat the grass in the yard......its spring now and really really hot here so i dont have to worry about being warm mostly how to stay cool...and how would i pass the time..scaring my brotehr at night pretending to be a ghost in the house.......haha

i scream for a sec. then laugh. to stay warm i sit my butt on the couch. i eat doritos, and to pass the time i flick a flashlight on and off. when the electricity goes out for me it doesn't stay out long.....

I eat take out, I wear a jacket/covers/socks, and listen to a battery powered radio to find out when the power will be back.

Light the oil lamps and get out the camping stove.

Light the candles and bundle up with my blankets.
