The fact that George W Bush, has not been impeached for his policies, #1, Iraqi war, (more damage to americans than 911), #2 refusing to protect our borders, and openly allowing millions to trangess our laws, with impunity, and #3, an out of control deficit. To me it is incredible that the people of the USA have not taken to the streets, and demanded his impeachement. it shows that we are not the strong nation that we like to think of ourselves to be, even other politicians of his own party (Hagel) say that Bush doesn't care about what anyone else thinks.

Congress is going crazy and the liberals have high hopes of getting impeachment proceedings but not that many republicans will support such an action. There has been enough time wasted on dead issues it is time to put aside the party games and get things done that will help this country instead of ignore real problems. Bush has done what Congress told him to in 2003 and now the liberals want to take back the vote and cry foul for the bad information that Clinton appointee gave everyone.

Impeachment is the last resort if the President continues to refuse to bend to the will of the people and do the job he was elected to do. As Republican Chuck Hagel pointed out today, it is beginning to look like Bush will leave Congress no choice but to impeach him.

It would have been a solution, if we'd done it 2-3 years ago.
It's too late now, and given the partisan political divide in this country, it's not going to have any net effect but to cause more inter-party bickering and hate-mongering.
Then again, even if he was impeached and the Senate did vote to convict, it's likely Bush would just ignore them. He seems to think that he's immune to anything Congress does and that neither the laws nor the Constitution applies to him.

Paul there NO WAY you can compare dealing with Bush like Hitler did with the Jews to even think about it shows how far over the edge liberalism has gone.
When I think liberals hit bottom around here someone like you comes along to prove me wrong.

impeachment could be the logical follow up to an exhaustive investigation of the bush admin policies.
the investigation must take place first.

What "Bush problem"?
No, you cannot impeach Bush at the moment. First there has to be a crime committed by him and we have absolutely no evidence for that whatsoever.

Impeachment would solve nothing. Giving in to Liberals on this issue is the same as appeasing terrorists.

Wait it out. Don't turn him into a martyr, and don't let his 30 % believers make even more of a crusade out of his existing holy war for western hegemony.
... I am also not a huge fan of Bush bashing. I prefer to give him the benefit of the doubt, and try to figure him out.
so far, I am stumped.
