It depends on which radio you have...
Sometimes there's an 'hour' and 'minute' button, usually towards the lower left side of the radio. The newer ones have a menu system, and the menu button is the first push button (under where it says 'menu').
You'll probably have to pull out the manual...

on my 2007 silverado there are 2 small buttons under the volume knob one on left is hour other is minute push and hold one or the other till you hear a beep then u push it untill you get the desired time u want

If you're unable to get the answer here, I was able to post a similiar question regarding a pioneer audio system wherein I lost the owners manual on Ask.com I got the answer immediately after putting specific audio system details. Good Luck, it is frustrating to look at that hour difference.
