I'mAFruitloopInACheerioWorld... If I ask someone's opinion I would expect to get an opinion (hopefully with some reasoning and/or facts to back it up.) Not so much a tirade.

Ha, Russly F! you get them just for asking. I don't mind hearing anybody express their lifestyles, as long as they do it without condemning others.
I guess that's impossible in some cases, by the very nature of the lifestyle.

I suppose because our children are the most important things in our lives. Getting them raised without
a) ending up in an asylum
b) ending up in jial
tends to make us think we are all experts.

because everyone probably feels as if they way they brought their children up is the right way. No one wants to be told the way they did something so big was wrong. Its just opinions and if people are asked they will reply and if its something that means alot to them, like the way they brought there kids up, then they will reply in a very strong way!g

I think people are just trying to be helpful and offer different ideas on a subject that is very important to moms (or others concerned) . All moms want to feel like they are doing the right things with their kids although not one way is the right way. Some people tend to forget that!

Well, it was sort of designed for those people to give out their opinions, aside from the whole "asking about" thing. I guess it just sort of happened. If you are morally against their lifestyles then don't listen to them.

Because when you ask a question you are going to receive an answer. At those answers just happen be opinions.
I was once told
opinions are like butts. Everyone has one and they generally stink.

I don't know. Probably because if someone is here posting their life history and asking a parenting related question, it leaves themselves open for a response and judgment.
You can't say you spank your 5 month old and not get a bit of chastising.

Perhaps because there are some parents who raise idiots and psychopaths and the rest of us would rather not deal with that.

they ask our opinions so that's why we tell them what we think. We are not stoping people on the street and telling them how to raise their kids.
