You just live your life. Have fun doing it. Be whoever you want to be. Have kids. See them grow, it's actually amazing to see your own baby grow. It changes your life in a great way. You may not see it now, but after the time comes you will see what I mean. It doesn't matter if what we do is remembered. Why would it really? Teach your kids what you know and watch them grow, that's the greatness of life anyways. After you die, people that are close to you will only remember the things that stand out in you. How great you really were. That's all that really matters for people to remember. Life is to have fun and lay back. Don't just think of life as a place ur just stuck in until you die, cuz it's not, it's more than that. Go try and have some sort of fun. Take off, lay back, go outside, eat something good. Just relax!

its not true that what u say or do will not be remembered- if that's ur main concern.. maybe not everything but something yes.. ur children will have a piece of u, they will bring up their kids the way u did, when they come across with a difficulty they will think of u and what u might consult them with.. and not just ur children.. even the stranger down the road u helped one day.. every person u met, u touched their lives in ur own unique way... there is no need to have written proofs that u lived.. u live on in other people.. is not about being u but about living as a whole.. if u were good they will remember u.. if u were bad and hurt they will still remember u.. and u dont have to be someone great or a celebrity to be remembered of.. try to think of somebody who died (for example grandparents.. or anyone at all u knew )- dont u remember them??!! of course u do..

I think that you are only taking in the hard stuff.First, lighten up on yourself, take a break from whatever you are reading,or listening to.If,you are getting your information from a Bible, then you need to hear all of the things,of the Bible. All,of that education will help you.If you only take in the negative of it,we feel like you said. You need to read several versions.King James,NIV,the living Bible, that can explain itself to you,on your level.I have been a Christian, for 32 years, and just recently found a Bible that inspired me greatly.
The most important thing that you can do,if you are a Christian,is to ask the Lord to show your mind, and heart, what you need to know as you go through life, for any problem,or situation.

I actually think about that everday. What is the point in living if your just going to die.I dont really what the point is at all.If your christian then I guess its basicaly waiting to die and then go to heaven. But if you a aithiest then I guess its to just live life and make the best of it while you can.LOL there are to many religions so I dont know what the point of life is when your just going to die.Even if you do die people will manage to go on with there lives,The world wont notice that your gone and even if they did they would get over it in a matter of time.

If you live to be remembered then you're not living for the right reasons. Don't worry about being remembered. If you do what you can to live well then there will be few regrets when you do die. If you're remebered then great. If not then at least you know that you lived your life doing right and anyone can die happy knowing that.

You could believe that we are all just physical organisms here to procreate and there is no meaning to anything beyond the immediate. However, it seems that even if you think we are only here to multiply, one must ask, why do i want to put children on this earth, with all the pain and violence, why would i bother? However you answer the question is what makes life meaningful for you.

To create. It means something to us in this temporary window of life. knowing all things are temporary, it just makes it all the more futile to be negative. Only be good. Only be happy. Only be gleeful. Only be those things, because if it means nothing in the end, then why be sad, why be upset. I find life is better when one looks at breathing as a luxury.

There is one fundamental rule of life:

To procreate.

Nothing else matters as far as nature goes.

Now, since you have asked this in philosophy, I assume you mean from the human point of view.

Unfortunately, it's not that much different.

Everything humans do is based on continuing the species, whether it is scientific advancement, or religious reasons.

Is there a reason to die a death when you're just going to live anyway?

Have you never heard of DaVinci, Beethoven or Einstein?
See, they did something and are remembered for it.
On the other hand you could procreate and hope your offspring do something you don't seem to be destined for.
