yes, it's possible. no matter WHAT happens, there is always a way to move forward and make improvements for yourself and your family.
have you returned to a doctor? if not, please do, and take medication or any other help you may benefit from in overcoming this depression. please be patient, take time to enjoy SOMETHING everyday , even if it's just going for a walk or watching a comedy show for half an hour.
if you can think positively and konw you have the power to recover, you can. when you take treatment for depression and are feeling better you can start focussing on other aspects of your life (ie your career) that will also help to improve your lifestyle.
for now, just focus on taking care of yourself and your kids. it's easy for me to say, but please don't worry, because things will work out, you just need to take the positive action, and the time, that will enable this.
good luck!

it's absolutely possible.you are already on your way. are you currently in therapy? it's something to consider. there are many new meds out there. you could look into them. if you are a church goer, sometimes that can help too.remember to give yourself enough time and if you feel like you're slipping back, ask for help. your family loves you and wants you around for a while. if you want to talk, e-mail me.i've been in a similar, though not as severe, situation.
