How is it that Black people are being blamed for all the crime in this country?

The reason is because the white media harks on the crimes committed by blacks and that's for real. Does anyone remember when those white soldiers took their wives on an military airplane and killed them, take your time I'll wait Hell no you don't b/c they were white. White people kill each other too. As a matter of fact when those DC snipers were out the whole world thought they were white and some were even disappointed to find out other wise, man it's crazy. I haven't heard of too many black serial killers, child molesters, etc. Let us not be blinded people this is not a perfect world and there are no perfect people in it.

I am black and a girl, and I feel that some black men are getting into jail because they are being gangstas and it doesn't make sense...I ask the same question, WHY are they doing this...well, it depends on how they were raised, their childhood, where they live, and what kind of environment they live in. If they live in the hood, chances are 90% of them are gonna go to jail because of these crimes. OMGosh, we are only 2% of the population, we need to have more kids lol but its sad because we also are the ethnic group with the most people getting AIDS (HIV)...the solution...don't have sex until after your married.

Your question is based on a false belief. They are not being blamed for all the crime except by those who are prejudiced against black people.

I don't know why it is but if you watch the news you'll see the people getting arrested most are African Americans. The prison population is mostly African Americans and Spanish. I've often wondered if it had anything to do with their ability to pay for a good lawyer instead of a court appointed one?

You are not! Most people on here seem to blame Muslims for everything. In some inner-city areas black people do commit relatively high levels of crime. But we need to get a way from skin-colour attiudes towards crime and be educated enough to acknowledge the significant link between crime and poverty. It is more to do with class and underclass than anything to do with skin colour, on all but a stastical basis.

Well if you were to see the number of black people behind bars compared to other ethic minorities and see how they brag about what they do, you may think again, I think a good question is why do they commit the crime, are they being given a fair chance.

A lot of people don't realize that the reason so many blacks are in prison is because they're more likely to get caught because cops watch them more. Again, a stereotype.

Racial profiling is to blame for this.

I'm not saying there aren't black criminals. I'm saying that it's become a huge stereotype. And because of this stereotype, cops are more wary around black people, just as airports are more wary around middle-easterners.

It sucks but it's true.

Nicole is a prime example of a victim of these stereotypes. Whites make up the majority of the prison population, not minorities.
