The first question to ask is why you're unhappy. If you don't know the answer that's ok. You may be suffering from depression if you're not sure what's making you unhappy. Depression affects many including many. Especially men and teens, but it can effect others. In either case, you should see a trained mental health professional such as a psychologist or psychiatrist. You could also talk to your doctor about this. They are trained to deal with your problems and can defineatly help. They may end up putting you on anti-depressents which they can explain if and when the time comes. However, if you begin getting thoughts of suicide, call 911 immediatly or talk to someone ASAP because thoughts of suicide are a medical emergency and need to be treated. Good Luck and feel better!

Sometimes it is good to cry. Watch a touchy feely movie and let it out.
Maybe something tangible in your life is causing you to feel down. If it is something that you can change, like leaving a cheating, no good lover then change it.
Your hormones could be contributing if this is ongoing. Eat a really good diet like the Zone Diet by Dr. Sears. If you are in your teens it is probably your hormones, and a proper diet will help. Junk food and soda is a ticket to depression.
Also, remember that life is full of ups and downs. Enjoy the ups and ride out the downs. No need to start popin pills like anti-depressants.
And, get some exercise and fresh air.

your the only one who knows what can get you out of the depression that your in and maybe talking to someone will help you look at things in a better lite but here are somethings that work for me to make me smile calling someone who has the most positive attitude on life that if they fell into a well there be down there saying I don't mind I needed some time to myself you know that person who is so positive that you just want to smack them.
or go to wal -mart or a major department store where the gay cashier is always dancing to the music only he can hear in his head. ( a side splitter)
here is the best one of all I visit my mother and after eighteen hours of listing to her tell me ( what I should be doing in life )as soon as I leave I'm instantly happy because I don't live with her anymore. I hope one of my ramblings made you smile

maybe you should try to figure what really makes you sad. After thinking the main subject why your mind bothered with that problem. You may find a very applicable and concrete solution on how to solve it. But for me since I try to mingle with my friends whom I know much and rely on and may confide something to get an idea on how to solve the problem. O r having fun with them could help. Though its temporary but it will help you to alleviate the pain you are carrying. Don't be sad and always think that there is hope to be happy.

It sucks but no one I know is happy. There is no point in life...pretty depressing I know. All you can do is live day to day, fill it with good people, do little or big things that make you happy. Just know that you are not alone. Accept reality, then live it. What would you regret if you were dieing?
