Alien. One helluva monster to defeat or escape from. Not much to look at, like the ghosts and ghouls with scary faces, but something that is almost unstoppable, which I think is it's scariest quality.

I think the most well done movie monster that was actually like this horrifying creation, was in the movie "Pans labrynth". This weird veinyskinned thing with no face that ate children. It was so creepy. Excellent movie by the way

Not actually a "monster" in the traditional sense but Cnady Man freaks me out! I remember watching it when i was 16 and all my friends that I watched it with went up to the bathroom and started saying Candy man into the mirror and I pushed them out of the way before they said if for the 5th time, I was that scared!
It's his voice that gets me most I think, "helen, helen!" Scary scary scary!!!

Probably the creature in Alien or the thing in Poltergeist, if you consider that a monster.

Not really a monster but I hated the demon possession of the girl in The Exorcist. ( as the above )

Not really a monster, but the only one to give me shivers down my spine was Regan out of the Exorcist. Then of course there was my ex-wife.
