Yes at least we did not lost the remote I remember getting a husband buying a VCR and I did not see the point until about a week later there were alot of good movies on at the same time so I could just really "tape it" then I realized it would be fine.

Hell, I'm old enough to remember when the dial on the TV was "smooth" turning like a radio dial, without individual channel detents.

Remember how BIG the VCR's were? I love that you had to put a deposit down to rent a video when they first came out, now it's no big deal to rent movies.

Sure do. I remember b4 cable and you had 4 channels. ABC,CBS,NBC and PBS. I'm not ancient either. I remember hearing about MTV for the first time and couldn't wait to see it.

Sure do. VCR's were $1000.00 dollars when they first came out. Now you can get one for about $35.00.
