But There are 300 balls.
They are divided to 6 ball "Overs"
It's 50 over one day international matches.
6 multiply 50 overs equal 300 balls.
But it's for whole team.
Eleven members comprise a team..
This is not base ball.
Each batter can bat what ever left from 300 balls.
Two batters bat same time.
But one has to face the ball at a time.
A player can can miss the ball without hitting it.
Baller has to hit the wicket to get the batter out.

There is no fixed number of balls a batter gets in a cricket match. It depends upon how long he plays and how many overs he faces before getting out.

There is a restriction for bowler to bowl only 10 overs but as far as batsman is concerned he is allowed tolay the as much balls as he can until or unless he may out , retire or the inning of the team is over.

not like that. in ODIs, each team gets 50 overs max to bat (the team bats until they are all out or until 50 overs). all the time there are two batsman on the field, and only when one batsman is out, then another batsman comes onto the field. it is really a game of teamwork because there are 11 players per team, but after 10 outs signals the end of the innings.

They don't have to be timed-out. and hit each correct ball they face.
