The date of Easter is based on the lunar calendar. It's usually in April but sometimes March; I definitely remember some March Easters.

According to Wikipedia, Easter can fall between 22 March and 25 April inclusive.

Eastern Orthodox Easter is at a diferent time in either April or May.

Easter will more often than not fall in April, but can fall in March. It is calculated by the first Sunday following the first full moon after the spring equinox. Since that is around March 21-23rd, the latest Easter can be is about a month later. It can never be in May, but can be in March and is usually in April.

Nope. Every 7 to 8 years the holiday occurs in March. I think It should always be around April 15.

I think it has to do with how many days Jesus was dead and then rose again. Have you ever heard of lent? I'm not a real religous person by any means I just think it has to do with lent which effects how many Fridays are in the Month of April, That is a question I always wondered about myself . I do think it has to do with the rising of Christ though. May be we should go to church huh!

it could be in march, it could also be in may. rule of thumb, and you dont need a calendar is that easter falls on the first sunday after the first full moon, after the first day of spring.
