Pray. Truly, it helps if you believe. The reason, among many other reasons, is that positive reinforcement can be self-imposed. If you repeat positive mantras, you'll begin to feel positive at any level, even in depression, but for depression such repetitions must be done vigilantly. God's descriptions and stories, or the descriptions and stories of gods and goddesses, throughout history and throughout the present, have been suffused with positive attributes. You will, no doubt, feel the incredible power of divine influences if you invest time, energy, and concentration on these positive qualities of divine beings. Your intensity of concentrations is, literally, equal to your belief or your understanding. The logic is simple -- why and how could you concentrate hard on something if you don't believe in it? In the same fashion, your concentration and belief in those forms (divine forms) will pull you through when you encounter crisis. Thus, God, gods, and / or goddess, whichever you believe, help you in your moments of need, simply because of the power of your belief! It's simple and beautiful, but are we trying to prove God's existence, here? I don't think so, because the need for that proof is not as profound as people make it to be. Belief (the best Hindu word is "Shraddhaa") will truly pull you through.

Do you want someone to tell you what you should do? There are many people willing to do that: religious people, politicians, salesmen, etc. They all want something from you. They'll happily give you a purpose as long as it is their purpose.
What you must do is find your own purpose. I think the place to start is to start asking questions about what makes you sad. Is it something about your environment, perhaps your family or friends or social standing? Or perhaps it is about the world in general, like that there are people starving every day.
Whatever it is that is making your sad, think about it, reason about it. What about it is specifically bad? Are some things really bad and others less bad? Is there anything that you think is good? Think about the things that are good, are there people that do those things? If there aren't, why don't they do what is good? Do they know that it is good?
Basically, I think we can overcome what we understand so the way forward is to try to understand. That means thinking about it yourself because unfortunately other people can't do our thinking for us.
I think if you think about all these things then you will find that thinking about them is good. You will have at least found something good to do because all thinking is good. What is not good is to avoid something, to pretend it doesn't exist.

You indicate no reason. So, seriously, it might be hormones for an odd reason. A doc. may confirm or point you in the right direction. I hope you're not offended, but, reading God's Word really does help peo. That, and prayer does lead one to relief. You need to share your feelings above all else.

You are probably depressed. Is there a situation causing this? Seek help at your local mental health clinic on monday.
Try to remember things are not as bad as they might seem.
You might need to talk to a friend about your feelings and get something off your chest.

I don't know what the issue it. But it helps me to get my mind off my problems by doing something else (especially things that you enjoy). You can go see a movie, rent a DVD, do some shopping (on the web also) or just visit a church to get some peace. Try to focus on something besides your problem. It will help you to think more clearly.

Eat, which is bad...because I was 315 pounds but recently lost 160 and kept it off for 3 years now. When I stopped using food, I smoked pot, even worse, spent along time self-medicating myself...Now I just watch tv.
Hope things get better! :)
