My topic is evolutin vs. creation. I strongly agree with creation, so that is what my paper is going to be about. It is a persuasive essay. Im not so great at getting started at these things so if anyone has a few pointers or ideas for a thesis statement PLEASE help me!

Be careful with this topic because many creationist sites are bias and may give inaccurate info.
Try to think about what types of problems there are in evolution and why creationism is the better theory. Consider missing links, inexplicable features of human/organismal anatomy, why certain things have not evolved, etcetc
I would go with a moderate thesis....evolution definitely occured...life has definitely changed...perhaps consider that a Supreme being got life started (ORIGIN OF LIFE), but evolution made the being a bit better...that's what I think and that is probably an easier idea to support.

I saw this on answers the other day so I can not claim it as an original thought but the question was and I believe a very good argument for the side of creation was......
If we did evolve and evolution is an acceptable scientific theory, then why have the apes not evolved?.........
I want to congratulate you on not asking us to do your homework, just getting a starting point......
You could open with that observation but in the form of a statement.....good luck..

Since you are writing a persuasive paper about how you believe in creationism you will want to lay out the evidence for why evolution is not a good theory and what creationism offers.

do you have any three points to support for position?
Give three reasons why you chose creation.Put those reasons into three words and frame they into one complete sentence.
The thesis state must contain your points.Your tutor do not have to read through to spot your points hidden in some paragraphs.some teachers read only the introduction with thesis statement and the conclusion.
Example: Road transport is better than air transport because it is comfortable,affordable and convenient.
My points are 1. Comfort
2. affordable
3. convenient
then the paragraphs are developed using each point as a different paragraph.
