if it is an automatic and shakes when in gear while stopped it could be your torque converter

its because you drive a celica! haha jk
it would help if you gave more information but have you put on any new sparkplugs, sparkplug wires, new distributer cap, or distributor rotor? that might help...id try that before you start changing out engine or tranny mounts.... it could be that you need to change the o2 sensor? my bet is that your car has some bad plug wires though....

WOW What year is your CELICA i have a celica 2002 5 speed with TRD package. i have had it for 3 years now, without any problems. i bought it like brand new only 19,000 miles on it. it's silver i love bragging about it. IT"S TIGHT!!! it sounds to me maybe you need to get the spark plugs and wires changed. it may be only running on a few cylinders. you may want to get them checked out. good luck

Sounds like a rough idle, could need a tune up or other adjustment.

Are you competent with tools and do you know how to do-fix-check-repair either of those things?
