2.Defrost and dry your fridge and freezer. Leave the doors open

3.Remove any perishable foods

4.Empty all the wardrobes and bring the clothes and linen home.

5.Disconnect the gas and turn off the Electric

6.Lubricate any locks and hinges

7.Make sure it is safely locked up and any loose items in the "garden" are locked away.

That's just the basics. I'm sure somebody will come up with more.

1) Make sure your lightning conductor is secured to earth
2) Remove all bedding
3) Remove all cutlery
4) Disconnect any battery terminals
5) Isolate electrics from any outside sourse
6) Clear out fridge and leave door open
7) Clean out cooker leave door open

9) Clean all the carpets
10) Make sure all windows and doors are secure
11) If on wheels inflate tyre pressure to 5lds above standard pressure
12) If possible visit the van twice a month and open the windows and doors to allow fresh air to circulate
