What is it like working for Wal-mart?

I just applied there. What are the employment benefits that I get? I'm 17 btw

I also have friends who work for Wal-Mart. The main complaint I have heard is that they are really hardcore about punctuality and schedule. You have to be available for the hours they need you to be available and you have to be there, ready to work, on time. They also don't appreciate adding an extra few minutes to break time or lunch time.
Basically, do your job efficiently, show up every scheduled day and on time, come back from breaks a minute or two early and you should be fine.

I know to many young adults that work there and they do not like it all. Benefits are just ok and they treat their associates like garbage off the streets. But there must be something good about working for Wal-mart (other than crappy 10% discount) because most of them are still there. Sam's Club is better from what I hear.

I know a lot of people working at walmart as we work in a small town. It may depend on your location. But I hear nothing but complaints here. they don't get enough hours because they hire to many people. then they get to many hours. Then They get 10% off some items here but not at other walmarts. No one your age last very long there, but you should be headed off to collage soon right? Atleast if you can take courses at your local collage to get some credits.

Well it would prob be good. You might see some funny looking people though so get ready to see some fat people, strange people, incredibly ugly people, sketchy people, overly chatty people, disturbing people, questionable gendered people, bratty kids, smelly people, normal people (rare). Well there is a lot of freaks at wall mart but it's good for a laugh.

Most workers there look miserable. I wouldn't want to work there.
