Birth control does not work like that. You cannot start taking birth control on the first day of having sex and expect not to get pregnant. You have to use some kind of secondary birthcontrol (condoms, spermicides, etc.) for the first 7 days of taking birth control. Birth control can also change the time of your period. If you haven't gotten to the last 7 pills in you pack, your probobly won't have your period yet.

Birth control takes a month to start working as a birth control. Pregnancy tests don't always turn positive the first week after you've had sex even if you are pregnant. Also, birth control can change your cycle a bit and as I said before, it usually takes at least a month to get things situated in your body. It does not work like a condom does and it is not 100% effective. i was on birth control and took it religiously when I became pregnant with my first daughter. I'm the .09% statistic. You might be too....

You have to take birth control pills for an entire month before having sex without another form of birth control. It doesnt work until then. Wait 2 days and take another test, if negative call your Dr.

Birth control can change your horomones so if you takes it everyday of the month you wont get your period but if you only take it 3 weeks out of the month you should get it on the fourth week but talk to your doctor for more specific details!

You are probably fine, it takes a while to get your body used to those things. if your periods are irregular enough to be bothersome talk to your doctor about a different pill. Also if you are really underweight or really overweight that can affect your periods as well. Stress can mess them up too so stop worrying about it.

it depends on what kind of birth control you're on. If you're taking pills- youre supposed to still use a condom for the first month- because you still could ovulate that month.

What kind of BC are you on? The pill? Relax and I am sure it will come. Hormones from the pill can mess you up a bit.
