It was Odysseus (also known as Ulysses) who returned home to Ithaca, not Zeus (who is the main greek God). He had to disguise himself as a beggar in order to regain his palace invaded by Suitors of his wife Penelope. Only his faithful old dog recognizes him.

He he, Odysseus was the dude in the odyssey. I don't remember him wearing anything special, but haven't read it in a while.
