There are several things you need to know in order to get good grades:
Listen to the teacher.
Read everything you're assigned.
Always read and follow directions.
Turn in every assignment complete and on time.
If you don't understand something, seek out help from the teacher or from a tutor.
Participate by volunteering answers in class, volunteering to read orally, etc.
Even if you don't have written homework, review the day's lessons every evening when you get home.

Ask...every teacher grades differently. Some use a point system and others put more weight on tests.
I grade everything fairly equal. Homework, classwork, quizzes and tests about 25% each. I also give many, many quizzes and then drop the lowest ones and count the top 5. That motivates kids to want quizzes often.

What makes up ur grade? Every homework assignment, class discussion, quiz, paper, and tests will be rated and rolled together to get the grade that goes onto your reportcard. Just about all teachers use tests and quizzes to determine how well you remember ingormation thats been presented in class or your ability to solve problems. Each homework assignment will be graded. Late or worse , missing work can really hurt ur final grade. Neatness usually counts.

Depending on subject, your teacher will have a list of what should be included in a coursework assignment to pass, to gain a merit or to gain a distinction.
Ask your teacher how the work will be graded - he or she will give you basic criteria - to gain a distinction, your work usually has to show evidence of original thought or insight!

the actuality that everyone on your type bombed the quiz says that your no person on your type became listening to the bulletins. in the adventure that your instructor has been attempting to get anybody to take heed to the bulletins while they're on, and you have chosen to no longer, then he or she became in all likelihood attempting to tutor a factor. likelihood is it won't do plenty to impression your grade. My suggestion stands out as the subsequent time your instructor needs you to take heed to and pay interest, you need to. As for the Brett Favre occasion, that would not be the comparable component by way of fact it has actually no longer something to do with type artwork or student participation (this is in all likelihood what he or she considers a quiz over the bulletins.

Complete all homework assignments. Participation is a big item. Raise your hand and be enthusiastic. Read, Read Read. And volunteer to help the teacher after class.
