I finished reading the paper at around 10:15 AM. I live in Denver where the Sun today is blinding, the weather is warm, and the grass is green. I placed the paper in the recycling basket and heard a loud laugh coming from the front of my condo. I peered outside to see a group of eight to ten year old hispanic children playing soccer. They were all smiling, some perspiring a little, all were playing the game they loved, and I couldn't help but be moved by their innocence and joy. There are things of beauty wherever you look and I found that by looking out the window to see a small round ball being kicked to and fro in the mid-morning sun.

The Texas wildflowers are in bloom... someone mentioned
1-45. Yes,they are there and all along 1-59, too. People stop on the sides of the highways to take pictures of stunning fields and fields of all of these marvelous colors !!Plus the azaleas are in full bloom here in the South. This is just one reminder why I could never live anywhere else !!! The Deep South in the USA rocks !!!

The tree in my neighbor's backyard. From where I was standing at my kitchen window, I could just make out the tiny buds that will be flowering in a few weeks. Not to mention that the sunlight is perfect on that side of the house. :)

I had a near death experience and although most cannot relate to this unless they have experienced it - looking into the face of God was the most beautiful thing any person could experience. Death is not the end, rather a beginning.

There were two geese, side by side, in an eddy of a river, at the entrance to a canal. One would duck its head to forage for food while the other kept an eye on things. Then they would exchange roles.
