Depends on your age. For example your size is great for a 10 year old but small for an adult. Seems obvious, but makes all the difference. Generally, smaller faster players play Free Safety, Strong safety, Corner back, then Linemen being the larger stronger and sometimes slower.

Again, depending on your age, preparing could vary. If your in your late teens, Weight conditioning could increase your strength, which could greatly increase your ability to tackle and resist injury regardless of game experience. Avoid if your younger.

Doing sprints could help your speed and endurance at any age. Its probably the best thing you could do without knowing your age or experience level.

Don't let anyone tell ya your too small. I seen some of those comments here already. Ive seen smaller players then you baffle a whole team.

Hey bud... I would say Safty and probly widereciever or full back depending on grade... if freshman wide out.. anything younger prolly fullback but to be honest to be a totall football player just go to play football dont go to play this position or that position just go and play whatthe coaches want dont just say im a running back or a wide out no matter what be flexible play what they want you to play They will like you as a player more if you do... Speaking from expeirience last year i played what the coachs wanted me to..and i took snaps , Played runningback, Widereiceiver... Tightend , Left tackle on a couple trick plays ,then on defence i played Outside linebacker , Corner , Defensive end , and a little bit of safty ...Ya know just be flexible go play football not one possition be an athlete and learn them all....

well, i mean considering i don't know your age, and if you are tall for your age or not, i am gonna go and say safety. however, if your speed is good enough to be a CB, then what the heck CB sounds good. in terms of preparing, i would start to practice lifting weights and building strength and stamina

It might be running back because the big men in the NFL can't catch small men.
