okay - weird catagory to put it under - but my recomendation is to figure out what you are interested in doing and find websites which tailer to your interests. If you like general computers then search on google for forums and chat rooms which discuss that kind of stuff. Myspace is not really the best place to find friends.

my suggestion is that you shouldnt go looking for friends on the internet. they arent safe. you should go out into the real world if your lonely. dont talk to people you dont know personally. they may not be who they say they are. And if you go against my 100% right advice, at least dont tell them any personal information (not your name, address, school, friends, family, phone number, email, aim, ect) and never EVER EVER agree to meet someone you met online personally. It is dangerous.

i have met some great peeps on pogo.com. i actually have met alot of them in person. it's a great place to network. also i enjoy the peeps on flixster.com. and they have this silly movie quiz that goes on forever!!
