My ford power stroke is broke. how do i fix it?

i get power for a second, then it shuts of when i am trying to start the truck

Check your battery connections to see if they are loose.

Check your wire from the battery to the starter or solenoid, make certain that they are clean, tight, and in good working order, not green.

Check to ensure your ground wire is well grounded. (The negative battery connection) Start there....
