I have a wooden kitchen table and I set down a hot pot on it and now there is a white faded mark.. looks like maybe the paint faded off from the heat??? How can I fix this? I already tried using wood polisher but it is still there! please help.

Believe it or not, apply a thick coating of mayonnaise to the white area. Leave it on overnight. Remove it with a soft cloth the next day and, Ta Da! Your finish will be beautifully restored!

I can't understand your question.
You said you had a wooden kitchen table, but you also said maybe the "paint" faded.
So you must have a painted wooden kitchen table. If that's so, then get a paint stripper and re-paint it.
If it is painted, then it must be a very very old table as you cannot buy painted tables anymore.
Maybe you should just go buy another one.

If table is expensive, French Polish. If cheap, replace. Or cover either with a table cloth

Sorry I'm not sure, but you might want to try calling the place you bought the table from and ask them.

it may need to be restained. i do not know what the table finish is like, ask a professional on this, they can guide you better. furniture polish wont do it.
