Also I don't do all the updates just the ones that effect me or the critical updates...Is that why, should I do all the updates?

You need to get the Windows update from Microsoft. With the earlier change to DST all windows computers need the update or otherwise they will change to DST at the old change date.

If you've done all the updates and it still doesn't work then check to make sure you didn't load the Microsoft Office update before the Windows update for DST (Daylight Savings Time). If so remove the office update (in add & remove programs) and then run the windows and it should work fine.

Without the updates you can change it like some have suggested but it will automatically change back until we hit the old date (1st Sunday in April) for the DST change.

I had the same problem - after daylight saving time the clock would just randomly jump. Make sure you have your computer updated by runnining microsoft update. I think it was just a problem where the clock wouldn't keep ticking when you shut your pc down.

Double click on your system clock in the bottom right of your screen. Go to the Time Zone tab. Make sure the option to keep daylight savings is checked. Make sure you have your time zone set right as well. Also, Check that you have the proper date set in the first tab.
