I'm not in this business but mr_gees has been a customer of these "professionals" a couple of times. Especially in my youth. How much a stripper makes depends on a couple of things. 1) how hot she is. 2) How charismatic she is. 3) The joint she works in.

Beauty is not all. A lot of it is how she works the crowed. Mr_gees always say that a chubby girl with a nice smile is 20 times hotter than a perfectly proportional girl with a bad attitude. A lot of stripper hate their jobs. The ones that do like it or the ones that can fake that they like it make the most money. The diffecence in pay is also due to the joint. A hight class joint pays better than a low class for the average joe joint. So, choose wisely. Plus the women get treated better in a medium to high class joint.

Ok, now to how much a girl makes in this line of work. Some say that these girls can make more than lawyers and doctors. Especially in a good exclusive joint. For the lower class joint I don't know but it must also be good money. At least enough to pay your way through college. I think girls get pay a flat fee just to dance that night. So, lets say $50 just to be there that night. Then they get what ever they make dancing. Plus the extras like lap dances and any other "special service" that they may provide like private shows. Some joints may require a percentage of that money so again chooce wisely.

So, lets do some rought estimates. lets give $50 just to show up on a so so joint. then take 10% away of what ever she makes that night to cover local fees and what not. So lets say she dances every 45 minutes in a 8 hour shift. Lets round that up to 11 dances a night. Now lets say that she makes on average $20 dollars foe every time she dances. So thats $220 not counting the $50. Oh and $20 a dance is a very low number but lets just pretend its a slow year hehehe. Now lets say she does 4 lap d ances at $20 each. Thats an extra $80. we are now at $300.

some math. 300 - (300 * .10) + 50 = $320 a night.

Now lets say she works 5 days a week for a year so that is 320 * 5days *52 weeks = aproximately $83,200 a year. gross income.

Not bad eh! Consider that this is putting it very conservatively. That is just showing up. If the girl really works at it and she were to work at a high end joint then how much money would she make. I have a college education and I don't make anything near that and I have a good job. Also, think about that these girls usually don't have post education and would most likely end up working as house keepers or mc donalds. Who is the fool now eh!!!

The problem with strippers is that because they live in the underworld sort of speak they get involve with the wrong people. A lot of them become drug addicts so in the long haul they end up broke.

Depends on where you work and what your limits are, and how good you are at it. Dancers in Vegas can afford houses and retirement plans. In another city, most can't afford their drug habit.

If you want to hire a dancer, read this then pay double!

I'm not saying don't be a dancer. Just be smart and don't end up like my friend whose story is below.

After just dancing on weekends for a year, my high school friend bought a brand new Cherokee (over $20,000). She increased her stripping and had great clothes and awesome shoes, beautiful jewelry, trips to the spa, her own condo. She always paid and we would just cruise the town and love every second. She was on fire!

10 years later, her money' s gone. She looks like s***, kid with her mom, boyfriend in jail for 4th time abusing her, and she's almost always tweaked on meth. She used to be a strong, fun, vivacious girl. I can't talk to her; I don't even recogniser her 1/2 the time.

I think that her payment from dancing was also payment to something else, curse, ill-will, fate, devil, whatever, that set up a downfall. We were all to young and nieve to understand the cruelties of the customers, the staff, the clients, and the other dancers. It gets worse and worse when you fall out of favor.

I hope I get Anita back, I but I think one part is gone forever.

It depends on the city, the crowd, and that particular night, but averaging around $1500 on a weekly basis. But you can earn that with a decent job. But think about your self-worth and dignity. Being a stripper isn't an easy money nor easy lifestyle. It cost you more then what it is worth.

Depending on the club and her acting ability, $200 or more per day.

But the cost is most strippers end up hating men and not trusting them because they end up believing that all men are like the ones that go to strip clubs.

Is it worth it? for $50,000/year? You can do better.

I've always heard they make good money, but none of them ever seem to have any. I've always wondered why.

***** You aren't going to make much in NOLA. Women take it off for free there. There's a big demand for male strippers though.

Just remember that stripping will never be a life-long career. Use it for money on the side if you want to but don't neglect your education.
