Try talking to her and your land lord. Then well theirs always your friendly lawyer. If you don't have have one ask your friends who they use for their personal attorney.

If it really bothers you and you know for a fact that she was the one who lied about you, I would definitely let her know that I didn't appreciate that. First, you might want to ask her if she said what you believe she said. Then you might say something like, "You know, it really bothers me that someone would say things about me that aren't true. You can understand that, right? Is there something that I have done to you that would cause you to do that?" That might be one way that could lead to an improvement in the situation.

i would, but first i'd question myself about whether or not i've wronged her in any way, and if i did (or not), i'd open with an apology. secondly, i'd have to constantly remind myself to remain calm, non-confrontational/agressive....to just talk.
you have a right to know why she would be willing to spread lies which could have effected you negatively with an eviction in your credit report. if she's done the lying thing with your landlord, imagine who else she may be smearing your name to.

If that bothers you, write to this person since you want to have some copy/proof of this issue. You don't want to argue with this person, since she is your neighbor and it can get ugly. Tell your landlord that you are having issues and let them know what's going on. Just make sure to protect your rights and don't let losers bother you. It's not worth it.

What kind of lies? Is she racist? Why did she want to get you evicted in the first place? from the little bit of information you provided, I'd say if you wanna slash her tires it'dbe appropiate.

No you shouldn't try to confront her. She may call the police and say you tried to assault her. Leave her alone.
