in basic terms toss it in the trash. It you're particularly into this environ crude, get a screwdriver and take aside. Or have some relaxing with a baseball bat. placed all the plastic in a plastic recycle bin and take all the steel to scrap backyard

Even if it doesn't work you can sell it for parts on eBay.
Start the auction at 1 penny.

call the local fire station. they dispose of them. and they sell them or take parts or give them to poor people.
