When I try to load my sims pets?

a message comes up... please insert the sims 2 pets disc ....but the right disc is in...whats happening?

Hi, if you're using the right disk then It could also be that your disk is a bit dirty or has a smudge - try giving it a quick clean & try again.

Even rebooting the pc to see if that works.

Is it possible that a downloaded hack is interfering with the game? Maybe you just need to uninstall & reinstall Pets (after first removing any hacks) & see if that works?

This is one of the few i haven't installed on my Sims, but if it's like the others, there are more than one disks for the program. You are probably not putting the right one in.... Try the other one(s) and make sure you are playing with the most recently installed game disk (ie if you install pets then college, play with the college disk)
