brown eyes are dominant but you can still have the recessive come through....you each give 2 chances for eye color to your child and your two chances were blue and he gave one brown dominate and blue also so you have atleast 25 percent!

I do know that if both parents have blue eyes the child will always have blue eyes that is a fact.

I have brown eyes my husband has blue eyes and three of our kids have blue eyes and one has brown...Brown is not dominate...we did some study on this back in Biology and the workup stated 75 percent of my kids would have blue eyes and it exactly worked out that way

Your partner has brown eyes, but he carries a blue eyed gene probably from him mom (or maybe his dad)... he passed on the recessive blue he was carrying on to your child.

yeah, well both me and my husband had brown eyes and 2 of my kids had blue eyes. only one had brown eyes. no one in else in my fam has blue eyes.
